Alright bees, I have a confession to make. I. LOVE. EDWARD CULLEN. Isn’t that sad??? Wasn’t this series meant for teeny boppers? How is it that I, a grown woman, have become so smitten with a fictional character/book series? a vampire nonetheless!!! I’ve read all the books, and every time the movies come on, I’m in a trance. It’s crazy!!! Please tell me i’m not the only one. Or just lie to me. It will make me feel better. And you will get a gold star for helping out a fellow bee.

You’re not alone–I love the book, and movie series, as well. :]

You are NOT alone! I love him too!!!!

LOL – I enjoyed your post. I’m not obsessed with Edward Cullen however I was at one point obsessed with Johnny Depp. Anyhow, a girl I work with is in her late 30’s, happily married and totally and completely obsessed with Edward Cullen and the Twilight books/movies. It is a very romantic premise after all. You’re definitely not alone.

Whew, thanks so much. It’s on TV right now, and I want to get IN the TV. I keep forcing myself to turn the channel so I don’t get too excited. Seriously, when I was reading the book series, I think I got a little depressed that he wasn’t real. lolol.

If it makes you feel better, I love Jacob :).

I love the books and like the movies. When I’m not watching or reading I think, “I just don’t get what ALL the hype is about with Edward.” But then when I’m watching or reading? Obsessed!

um…yeah, i’ve read the books quite a few times myself and was pretty obsessed for awhile. I tend to read books I love over and over and over again, but as soon as I get hooked on something new, my previous obsession fades a bit. After reading The Hunger Games, my Twilight obsession waned a bit. Still…both are young adult series!!
I feel you though…there was quite a period where I was weirdly and guiltily obsessed, lol.

I’m obsessed too! It’s weird because it is so out of character for me. I’m a big reader, but I don’t read romances and I don’t read young adult fiction. I actually have a lot of criticisms on an intellectual level about both the writing and a lot of the themes in the series. But I still can’t help it!

I really enjoy reading the books, but I cannot get into the movies!! Kristen Stewart just gets under my skin I think.

Love the books, the movies not so much. I’m also obsessed with True Blood on HBO. Something about those southern accents and that steamy blood sucking sex just gets me going lol. Fiance makes fun of me any chance he can get..

The books are definitely much better than the movies! I think that’s always the case with any good book series – just like Harry Potter.

You really…. honestly… don’t wan’t to know how many times I’ve read the books……
Personally, I love the books a heck of a lot more than the movies (grrr kristen stewart twitchy face and bad screenwriter)… but, yes… you are not alone 🙂 Oh, and Robert Pattinson is the movie’s only saving grace for me, lol. Well, that.. and Charlie, he does good too 🙂

Not alone at all! When I was reading those books, I was completly absorbed by them. Slightly less obsessed now since the series ended, but all bets are off once the movies are on!
I am the same way. My last book love/obsession was the Sword of Truth series. But I am looking for some new reads, maybe I’ll check out The Hunger Games.
