So I was thinking about doing a twine and wax stamp for my diy invitations. I’m just wondering if this would fit the tone of my wedding.
I’m going for a more classic/traditional wedding. My colors are emerald and gold (with maybe hints of pink).
I’m just not sure if the twine gives it a more rustic or casual feel. What do you bees think?

@peabee: I think if you use white or, really, any non-natural colored twine it will be good. The typical brown twine will give a shabby chic/country feel.

@MexiPino: I actually found two twines that I was thinking about using:
gold & white:

Or emerald & white:

@peabee: Ooo pretty!!! I don’t think I’ve seen sparkley twine before! That will be gorgeous.

I don’t think twine will take away from or impact the style of your wedding at all. With that said, I think it’s a great little touch to your invites to use both twine and a wax seal. Good luck with the seals, though, those can get a little messy sometimes.
