When I was in a bridal party, I was walked down the aisle by two groomsmen, for the number was uneven. It looked perfectly fine!

I have 2 bridesmaids and my Fiance has 4 groomsmen one of which is a girl as his best man (his sister).  I don’t think it will look weird at all.  Different maybe but not shocking.

2 things:

Do you have any guy friends you can ask? My bridal party will be 3 girls and 3 guys – if they’re supposed to be the people who are closest to you, I don’t see why you can’t have guys on your side.

I was recently asked to be a replacement bridesmaid. I accompanied my friend to David’s to help pick out Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses with 2 of her BM’s. #3 was a no show – and she basically asked me since #3 prob. couldn’t even make it to the wedding or bear the costs, if I would step in for her. Personally, I don’t think I’m “runner-up”. She presented it this way: our FI’s are BFF’s and we’re pretty much going to be friends for the rest of our lives, so why not. If you find some other people (guy or girl) and present it that way, you should be fine. Also, why not some other family members?
