So if you are familiar with my posts at all, you’ll know that I have been in love with Enzoani Farlow for a while now. (And still am!) But I kept having this nagging feeling in the back of my head that although the dress is crazy gorgeous, it is so BIG and it might be a pain in the ass to wear and dance and move around in it all night.
I went again to dry on dresses in a totally different direction this time, satin and more fitted. My sister told me that’s what she always imagined me wearing…
So then I found this gorgeous Paloma Blanca gown! It feels amazing on and I love love love it! It’s style 4111 – I only have one picture of it on me from the front but the model pic shows better what it looks like. It was about 2 sizes too big for me so it was clipped in the back.
So… now I’m torn. I still love the Farlow but I love the PB too… and the PB is definitely going to be more comfortable…
What is the hive’s opinion?
Paloma Blanca
Farlow (and I would get ahhoop or a crinoline to go under it so imagine BIGGER):

I say the Paloma Blanca if it’s more comfortable! They both look great though 🙂

You look great in both, but the Farlow is so much prettier of a dress IMO. The discomfort would be worth it to me, but it may not be for you. Either way, you’ll look awesome.

My Enzoani is very similar to the Farlow and I had no issues dancing in it 🙂 You look great in both dresses btw and you cannot make a wrong choice – the tighter fitting satin may be harder to dance in and a bit hotter?

ETA – I went back and looked a couple more times and I think the farlow balances your figure a bit better than the PB but that could be because it is too big and is loose around your hips

Paloma is beautiful but I feel like that style is over done. However, it would be easier to get around it. I do love the Farlow one though. It would just be a pain. So overall, I’m too confused to vote. Lol. Either one you choose will be gorgeous though!

@unixfairy: GORGEOUS!
Yah that is not the most flattering picture of the PB – I think it looked much better in person, I felt sooooo pretty and everyone and their mom was commenting on it when I came out to the mirror.
There is a store here that carries both designers so I think I should go and try them on back to back for a real comparison… it’s been several weeks since I`ve seen the Farlow.

Both dresses are beautiful, but I prefer the Farlow on you. It’s more romantic and defines your shape better (IMO). Good luck!

I love the first one. The second is lovely, but the first one looks awesome.

The Paloma is more modern, the Farlow is more romantic. Depends on the look you are going for! I agree the skirt on Farlow is very big. Both look great on you though so it’s just choosing which you love more!
edit: if you’re getting married in 2014 you still have a lot of time to decide! Not sure about the Paloma, but Farlow won’t be discontinued until at least 2014 (inquired through an Enzoani rep @ their headquarters)

I voted for Farlow, I love Enzoani dresses and I dont think it needs a crinoline. My dress is also lace.

I definitely think you should try them on back to back. Both are gorgeous and you can’t go wrong either way. I had a heavy satin ballgown, once it was bustled there was no problem moving or dancing.
