ctbxbee :  There is no good or polite way to say “adults only”. Address the invitations by name to those who are invited. Indicate how many seats are reserved for them on your rsvp card.

If someone ignores that number and adds others you will have to contact them “I’m sorry, there must have been a misunderstanding. We are not able to accommodate the children. If that means you will be unable to attend, we will miss you at the wedding.”

Make sure that the invitation is specific in who is invited, and make sure the rsvp card is specific as well. I think it would be like this -if two people are invited, then say _ out of 2.  My sister is having rsvp on her wedding site (zola). We’re having it set up where only the people actually invited can response. It looks like this:

1. I’ve only ever used Vistaprint for business, and I have placed orders for more than half off, but I got lucky in that the clearance cardstock fit what I was looking for… I would get on RetailMeNot or CouponCabin to view when they had discounts/sales in the past.

2. You don’t. On the separate rsvp card/website, you indicate how many spots each invitee gets. So a couple will see ” __2__ seats have been reserved in your honor” on their card (you have the blank line printed, then hand fill in numbers). If they’re going to a website, the guest will look up their name and choose if 0,1, or 2 guests will attend.

Yes, I think vistaprint regularly does 50% if I’m not mistaken. I got mine during one of those sales, I do think it was for black friday day.

People will try to add their children regardless (I addressed invites by name and people still brought randoms that the invites were not addressed to). I would just put on the RSVP adults only. Simple as that.

Vp offers 40-60% off sales maybe once a month. You can ‘prep’ your invites and save them in your cart, then when a sale comes by you can buy.
