OMG!!!! Im so sorry! I think that if you go to someone who know what they are doing they wil at least be able to lessen the damage. Does your hair grow pretty quickly????

I’m so, so sorry!  You have two more months of growth, so take heart!  Do you have someone you trust that can reshape it for you and make this cut better?  A bad hair cut sucks but a good haircut and be miraculous!   Also talk to the person doing your hair for the wedding and see what they can recommend.

(btw-you aren’t alone, i am going back to the salon tonight to fix an awful dye job that my Fiance calls ‘orange’.  my wedding is next week.  ack!)

Can you post a photo? We might be able to give you some suggestions if we know exactly what you’re dealing with.

You can go to your stylist and she can at the very least even it out for you. Massage your hair as much as possible and try not to wash it to often that usually helps hair grow a little faster. Clip on’s can look super natural just make sure you get a color that matches your hair and make sure the quality is really good! You can go to a beauty supply store and make them yourself! Super easy.

take fish oil and anything you can with omega 3&6. I take flax and evening primrose. They make my hair and nails grow (IMO) faster and stronger. Hopefully that will help it grow back!

I totally understand your pain – the same thing happend to me about 2 weeks ago with 2.5 months to go unti lmy wedding.  Told the stylist to put in “light layers – just enough so that its not straight across the bottem” and I now have about 6 inches between my longest hair and these super short (for me) layers that she put in.  I HATE it and I’m hoping they grow out some before the wedding.  Good luck with your hair too – may both of us have really fast growing hair for the next two months!

two months, take prenatals and your hair can grow up to 1 1/2 inches between now and then, and get it fixed ASAP, most people’s hair grows at least 1/2 inch a month, so you can have the layers blended(so you don’t look like a five year old cut your hair) and if you don’t do anything else it will be almost as long as it was before, so sorry!

Go to your normal lady, you’d be amazed at how they can fix bad haircuts! And don’t freak out yet!!!!! Start taking some like prenatals or something, they will make your hair grow like crazy, and your nails too! ๐Ÿ™‚ It will be ok!!!

Something similar happened to me before my friend’s wedding (I was her MOH). I went to a stylist I’d been to about 2-3x, and described clearly what I wanted (small trim, neaten up the layers) and he CHOPPED it off. I was SO upset. Then, on the day of the wedding, the bride’s hairdresser (who was also doing my hair) scolded me b/c when we did our trial run, I told her I was only planning a trim ๐Ÿ™

Hopefully your normal stylist can clean it up and make it look great! Hang in there!
