Do what you feel comfortable with. We all have hang ups and to some people, they could look amazing, but still not believe it when they are told this and feel lousy. If you would feel happy in a 2 piece, go for it! I bet you’d look great, your Fiance clearly thinks so, so if you’re content to bare your tum, rock it.

From your description it sounds like you would look absolutely fine in a two-piece.  I guarantee there will be people on that beach who have NO business wearing a two-piece.

However, if you feel more comfortable, there are a TON of cute 1 pieces out there.  I’ve seen a bunch of vintage-looking ones with the sweetheart neckline, and ruching through the middle for a more slimming look.

I say if you are comfortable in a two piece than go for it.

I see a whole lot of people that are quite larger than me in a two-piece and they are beyond confident. More power to them!

I think you will look fine , but if you will be uncomfortable you will look uncomfortable – perhaps you can find a happy medium with something you are happy with? a high waisted old school style? the more modern one peices that have large cut outs at the side and back?

Do what you’re comfortable with, but I think you’d look fine. Pack both and see how you feel.  🙂

If you’re comfortable, do it! 🙂 I’m sure you look amazing.

I am sure you look great, maybe if you are not comfortable you can wear something like this though? It covers the area you are uncomfortable with and still shows some skin for your Fiance….

Definitely pack both and see how you feel. But it sounds like you would look fine in either.

One pieces are definitely in right now, so there are a lot of really cute options out there. I opted to get a one piece for our honeymoon, and my husband loves how it looks on me. The ruching on it really makes your stomach look flat. If you like the retro style (I swear it looks even better in person), here’s the link:

I say bring both a one piece and two piece and see how brave you feel when you get there.
