I know there are plenty of two shoe brides out there, and I recently became one as well! I have a super cute about 2″ think heel shoe, that is just adorable (I’m seriously in love 🙂 and then a super cute 1″ wedge flat.
My question is, how do you deal with this when doing your alterations? Since mine are only about an inch difference, I don’t think it will be as big of a deal. But what about you brides with taller heels and then flats, how did you do your hem?
Thanks in advance for the help bees! You rock!

I was told by the DB alterations lady, it doesn’t. Either you step on the dress/it drags on the floor, or some of your feel/ankles can be seen, depending on which shoes you accomodate–even with such a small difference.
Other ladies I have asked just said they had to perpetually lift up their skirt while they walked and danced in their flats. This is what I’m doing, but I’ll try to stay in my heels as long as possible.

@ItsPronounced_ABear: I think you are probably right. I am definitely going to try and stay in my heels for as long as possible as well. I think I’t rather have it drag and inch than look too short with the heels on! thank you! 🙂
