I almost did two paralell runners not even overlapping, I thought it would look cool. I ended up doing 6in runners on a 60 in table, I’m not very stylish, but I think they looked good.

I would use 3 runners, 2 to create the width you are loothing for and one on the top over the middle ( maybe in a lighter color) to hide the seam. and you’re better off renting them. make sure that the tables and the runners lengths are what you need/ want too. Just out of curiosity how long are the 72″ tables?

Ahhh this makes more sense, yeah I think i would do 3, or if you arent dead set on the runners I would get a smaller square table cloth and do a sort of overlay, you can even do this my fodling it in half and using a couple triagles. ex. ( different colors of course)

@laurenbee01:

We bought burlap by the yard (standard size rolls) and trimmed the sides to make a wider runner. I’m using the extra pieces to make burlap banners. That could be an option for you, if you can find the fabric you want at a good price.

What linen site are you referring to?

@laurenbee01:  Wow! That seems really cheap! I’ll check it out, I’m looking for napkins. Thanks 🙂
