Love the first one
Love the first one
I love the first one on you. It deinitely has that glam vintage vibe
You look fantastic in both but my vote is for dress 1. I love fitted sheath style dresses and whilst I’m not usually a fan of lace, this is beautiful. It highlights your figure and ticks all of your criteria – I think it should be a no brainer!
I’m admittedly partial to the WToo Elise because it’s my dress as well! That said, the second dress fits your body like a dream. You’ve got a win-win situation.
Dress number 1 is breath taking. It’s absolutely stunning and by far my favorite!
The first one is gorgeous, so much more elegant and unique than the second option, in my opinion. The one condition I guess is that a lot of women feel less “classically bridal” in an embellished sheath, but it’s personally my favorite style.
The first one! You look amazing in either. Wear which one makes you feel like YOU.
Love them both but the second is so much more bridal and fun!
I posted a question similar to this when I couldn’t choose. I honestly didn’t like either dress more than the other. I loved them both equally!!! It was so frustrating. How I ended up deciding was through reading the comments. I realized that the majority of bees were saying they preferred the one over the other and it made me really sad. Thats how I knew I liked the other one. So just ask yourself after reading these comments, if you see more people saying they like one over the other, does that make you feel happy or sad? 🙂
Ps, I love the second!!
I find the second one really “young”
I forgot to mention that for the dress on the left, the sample had a nude lining but I would order it with the matching ivory lining. Maybe that would make it feel more “bridal”.
The way I set it up also probably sells the skirt & corset a little short (i.e. “wasn’t anything I thought I wanted”). It’s not that my family & friends were pressuring my into it. I actually had my most emotional moment while twirling around in the big skirt. I think it had more of a “wow” factor — but then maybe that’s because I had only tried on half a dozen lace fit and flares prior to it. Gah, it’s so hard.
I always lean toward the fitted dresses but I’m drawn to the second one! There is something off to me in the first- not sure if it’s the pattern of the lace or the liner. Plus you said the reception would be in a ballroom. Perfect for a ball gown skirt!
cbennett505 : I have no preference for one style over the other but I think dress 1 looks better on your body. I think it hugs your curves and makes your waist look smaller.
Completely random idea – have you thought of wearing a removable tulle skirt – probably not the one with option 2, but a simpler one – on top of dress 1, then taking it off for the reception? Then you’d have best of both worlds.
I would go with the second one- its fun, flirty, romantic and youthful.
