I am really not interested in the long ceil types, and have always loved the simple birdcage netting type veils… but I just bought the Enzoani Blue Elista, and my mother is screaming that veil style wont work. I am unsure. what are some other veil alternatives for this dress? Or is my mother crazy and a birdcage would work just beautifully?

I think I might agree with your mother, unfortunately. Your dress is so gorgeous and I feel like it’s just begging for at least a fingertip length veil. :/ What about not wearing a veil at all?

@captaintina: What about a longer veil for the ceremony and a little one for the reception?

I don’t know….I am all about the long veils, but I can totally see a birdcage working, if you got the right one. I think some birdcage veils might not look right, but if you picked the right one, I think it would give your look a vintage edge. I personally like mixing modern and vintage. The Elista kind of already gives off that vibe, anyway, so I say go for it! I would go for one like this:

OK so I decided to wear a veil for the ceremony, and a fascinator type hair clip/pin at the reception…. so now I need help on the type of veil!! I was thinking the kind that hooks into the back of your head, that just hangs down (doesn’t hug shoulders or anything) would look best… but what length? the buttons on my dress are so pretty, I dont want to cover them up. Plus… the booty looks kinda good, too. Help!
