My fiance and I are eloping in two months (!!!!!!!) and I have no clue what kind if band to get for this ring. Any ideas?
I’m in nursing school and I’m not sure if I will wear my band alone at the hospital after we get married, so I’d like it to be one that looks good on its own too.
Here’s my e-ring:

Whoa, I have a ring similar to that, marquise and all! My side stones aren’t rounded over the edge though. I always wore a plain gold band with it, I thought it looked best. You could also try a channel set band with diamonds the same shape and size as your side stones. Edited to add– your ring is beautiful. 🙂

I think a plain band will look best, as I think your ring is so high that anything that doesn’t match perfectly might look “off”. The plain band will be a nice contrast, and will stand best on its own.

I would do a plain band so that you don’t have to worry about it under gloves ect. They’re also super easy to maintain compared to something with diamonds.

Thanks guys! I thought about a plain band, but I really want it to have SOMETHING to it because I know I will end up wearing that more.
I was actually shocked that my engagement ring doesn’t give me much trouble with gloves! You would think it was.
We have looked a few chanel set bands. That probably will be the closest to what I’m looking for. I guess I will have to go to the store to try it on though. I just hate the pushy sales people in jewelry stores!
