@AllieBee12:  I attended a wedding in San Francisco last year and they included some nice SF stuff in the welcome bags:

  • TCHO chocolate 4-packs
  • Beer produced in SF
  • Sparkling water produced in SF
  • 2 SF postcards
  • Maps of the main tourist attractions

I’d put some ghirardelli chocolates in there. Yum!

I’ve been trying to figure out how I can put IT’S-ITs (ice cream sandwiches dipped in chocolate, basically the most delicious frozen treat ever) in our Out of Town bags but the whole “frozen” thing is really throwing me off.

Other ideas: Boudin sourdough, See’s candy, Napa valley wine

All that sounds good, but the best thing in any bag I have received has been the bottled water, usually a bottle or 2 per person in the bag.  After all that travelling, I am usually super dehydrated, so the bottled water is great upon check in.

@boomsauce:  This is a pretty late response, but instead of including Its-Its in the welcome bags, I decided to get them for dessert at the welcome dinner/rehearsal dinner!
