So I designed our wedding invitations on mixbook. I know it isn’t very traditional looking but we’re quirky people and we’re having a celestial themed wedding. We combined our reception onto our wedding invite to save money. The invitations have already been printed out and are being mailed as we speak. However, I JUST noticed that on the left side for the ceremony, I have the word “three” spelled out for the time which is proper, and then on the right side I just have the number “5”. Do you think a lot of people will notice this? The invitations are impossible to return since it is my error. I’m feeling kinda crappy about this since it’s my fault. I designed it to save money, but I was wondering if you guys think I should create new invitations or just keep these? I don’t want to have to waste money but if it looks really stupid then… 🙁

I read it over five times before I looked at your post, and didn’t notice. They look fantastic! Don’t worry about it. 🙂

Thank you! I can’t believe I made a typo. I stared at it for hours.

Even if someone notices, no one will care.

I didn’t really notice until you pointed it out. 🙂
I designed my own invitations too. One time I was tired and instead of writing only people’s first names on the front, I wrote their first and last.
We both stared at the invites before we decided that:
1. I didn’t feel like redoing it
2. Nobody is going to notice since they won’t be comparing their invitations with other people’s
3. Even if they did notice, they wouldn’t say anything to us about it because who’s going to be that jerk?
So it’s all good! 😀 No worries~

I read it multiple times before looking at your description because I’m a giant loser and wanted to see if I could find it myself. I didn’t notice.

It’s not a typo, it’s a consistency error. You might get the odd person who will point it out thinking their being helpful but I wouldn’t worry about it – especially if they’re already in the mail. For the small purpose that they provide, I think it’s a little detail that you shouldn’t stress about. Keep them as is.

this is not a typo it’s a breath of fresh air.. I think people may notice but it’s actually a relief on the eyes. It breaks up the left and right side a bit. Visually nice.
It’s highly likely that no one will mind

I’d be irritated at myself too, but definitely not enough to reprint anything! Let it go. Very few ppl will notice and no one will care. Btw, those are super cute invites!!!

I read over your invitations 4x and couldn’t find the typo! Then I read your post. Invitation looks great! Very original ☺ no one will notice.

I’m a graphic designer and I will say that no, most people will not notice and if they do, they really won’t care. you didn’t misspell a word or worse: accidentally give wrong information!

I read it twice looking for the typo and didnt even notice the five v 5 …I think it’s fine the way it is – most people will not notice so it’s not worth reprinting
