(Closed) U.K. Bees are hats still ok for weddings?

Also, the correct etiquette is to leave your hat on until the MOB removes hers, which SHOULD be at the start of the wedding breakfast. At both weddings I went to I had to remove mine earlier though as they were showing no signs of taking them off and I didn’t want to wear it any longer lol (because they were hatinators they dug in a bit, plus I think wearing a hat to eat is kind of odd). Though, it’s considered more rude to keep it on longer than it is to take it off sooner (if that makes sense).

Just a head’s up in case you know any sticklers for etiquette, though most aren’t aware of this.

We had a mix of hats, fascinators and nothing at our wedding. The hats were mostly older ladies and the fascinators were all ages but I don’t think it would have been strange to have younger people in hats.
