zappos.com is also an awesome place to see shoes of all shapes and makes – they have a ton of flats in many different colors.

I am a shoe whore (I’m the first to admit it) but what I have bought thus far are  ..

A pair of kitten heels (they also came in flats, multiple colours R/W/G/Bl/Blk/ etc etc) — got them on ebay for 25$ w/ shipping (the shoes are by wild diva).

I also bought these silver flats for a friends wedding (also wild diva via ebay for 30$), they are pretty darn comfortable, and the colour makes them pretty flexible so I might wear them with the dress, or any time really:

Lately I have been eyeing these babies, though pricier, still not insanely expensive, can be found here :

I love flats 🙂

I actually think your boots would be really cute…the dress is flowy enough that they’d look cool! Prairie chic? Maybe not what you’re going for, but just throwing that out there…!

I agree with PP. Wear the boots – especially if you’re comfortable with them! The wedding is about you guys, not what tradition dictates!

Boots! My friend is a photographer and I recently saw that another bride wore boots. It was adorable and showed her personality!

If the boots make you happy and are ‘you’, I say go for them!
