I love the dress! And it looks great on you! And there’s a reason why you chose it, because it’s you! Ask your friends etc. and I’m sure they’ll tell you that this dress brings out who you are! And this means it’s the right dress!

somedaymrsj :  The dress is beautiful and you look absolutely stunning in it! Totally age appropriate (whatever that means haha)

It actually makes me want to cry that you are second guessing yourself. If you love the dress and feel amazing in it, then that’s all that matters. I really can’t see why anyone would have an issue with it but if they did, then who cares. Don’t let others’ negativity stop you from being you.

Your dress looks amazing! It’s also very classic and anyone could wear it, young, old and everyone inbetween!

Miss-Mauverick :

Oh, you just triggered a nice memory!

When I was buying my dress, a woman about my age came in to shop for her vow renewal gown.  She was 100% set on a ball gown. Apparently, she was not able to be a princess the first time; so, she sure as heck was going Full Princess this time!

Just so great.

Girl I’m literally in LOVE with your bridal look. The flowers on the dress compliment your tattoos and you’re lucky to have found such a great dress for $600!

I think it’s absolutely beautiful and good for any age. My only suggestions were to ditch the bow and not wear the veil over your face – but I see you’re doing both those things already. Potentially a long, single layer veil could work better. But the dress is wonderful!

Bee, that dress looks amazing on you. Wear it with confidence.

FWIW, I’m 50 and about to be married for the second time. And I’m wearing a big ol’ wedding dress, train, veil, and all.

I’m in a similar situation.  Also 44. Also Second marriage , and fh.

first.

I was going to go with a simpler dress, with sleeves.. but fh reminded me that I will be his one and only bride, he wanted me to wear something, fun, young and beautiful.

So I bought a Second dress, a sample. Our venue and month also changed, from inside a basilica, to outside summer golf course.

I would say, treat this as your first wedding, and let yourself be a bride 🙂 Your dress is stunning. Ps I also have tattoos, and am wearing a cathedral plain 1 tier veil 🙂

The dress is beautiful and you look amazing in it.  The veil makes it seem younger imo.  I’d ditch that and go for an elegant hairpiece instead.
