Honestly, a few look to be on the short side, but dresses often appear that way on models with mile long legs. Otherwise, they don’t look inappropriate. What sort of length are they in person?

I disagree with your Mom… they are all pretty and if that’s what you want, then that’s appropriate! Inappropriate would be a dress that is too revealing! But that’s my opinion 🙂 I love them all! It’s your wedding!! Good luck!

Depends on your BM’s to be honest. I dno’t know that I’d want my BM’s wandering down the aisle in dresses so short ….they are lovely dresses but don’t look overly ‘bridesmaidy’ to me :/

I would suggest re-thinking the dresses and the theme.

A lot of brides have a very traditional image in their mind, and dresses have to be very formal. If you are going for a more garden-y or casual theme, I don’t see a problem with going with what you like! You are going to get a lot of people who agree with your Mom on here…

January.. in Colorado? Those girls are going to be freezing! They are all cute, but IMO too short ESPECIALLY for winter. Love your MOH dress and all the rest, they are something I would of liked at my wedding in June.

But ultimately it’s your wedding. You got to make YOU happy. 😀

As long as the dreses go longer than the girls’ fingertips when their arms are at their side, I’d say they’re fine. Shorter dresses are in right now, and as long as they aren’t too short (and the girls pay attention to when/how they bend over) they should be fine.

ETA: January? I do think that might be inappropriate–not because the dresses are too short, but because those are very springy/summery dresses. It would be like someone wearing a heavy fur-lined bridal cape to their July wedding in Texas. Sure, it won’t be scandalous, but it won’t look seasonally appropriate (and will probably cause people to feel sorry for your bridesmaids, who in all likelihood WILL be freezing!)

Maybe you can get them cardigans or something? Or at least let them wear boots?

I love the MOH dress, and if the others aren’t as short as they appear to be on the models than I love those as well! They’re perfect for a more casual wedding.

ETA: Saw the update on the length, if they truly look that short, you may want to reconsider the dresses. If anything drops their bums will surely show.

They’re cute! But as others have said, they look a little short on the models. If your bridesmaids have long model legs then I might reconsider if I were you…

Some of them are a little short and they are fairly casual, but I wouldn’t call them inappropriate.

I must agree with PP that they do look a bit short … remember the fingertip test from school, where if your skirt didn’t go past your fingertips then you got sent home? I’m just worried these don’t meet that rule. But, it’s possible they just look that way on the models. What really matters is how they look in person. And of course, what really REALLY matters is what YOU think about them! If you love them, then that settles that Smile

My honest opinion (since you asked) is that those are way short dresses, and I personally would not choose them for a January wedding.  (Edited after reading wedding was in Texas, not Colorado)
