Ick. I had a guy on facebook who posted his made up rap songs everyday, and some of them were beyond vile and disrespectful.  I just removed him from my news feed, rather than blocking him.

“I’m a prude damnit!” <– love it! I would un-follow her and tell her you check it at work and you were afraid someone would look over your shoulder and see her racy tweets.

On a side note: that is disgusting! I hate it when people expect everyone to be interested in their sex lives! Yuck!

Absolutely unfollow her! What she’s saying is making you uncomfortable. If she confronts you, I’d tell her just that. There is nothing wrong with you for feeling this way and for acting on your feelings. I’ve unfollowed friends on Twitter before because they were annoying, and I’d definitely unfollow someone for posts of that nature.

@AnneTossy: I don’t think you’re prude, I think you’re just not stupid like this girl obviously is. I hope she’s not trying to pick up girls with those tweets. You can be freaky as hell in the bedroom but let that shit stay in the bedroom! I hate when people talk all nasty and act like it’s cool and that they’re badass. makes you sound like you’re 12, and that you are NOT getting laid…I would totally find a way to hide her or just stop following her.

Simple: Either ignore it…or unfollow her.

ETA: There’s also a great application I’ve used in the past called Twitter Snooze. Check it out: twittersnooze.com

If she isn’t a real part of your life and her posts offend you, why is this even an issue? There are no repurcussions to not following her. If she asks why, I would literally just tell her that her posts are too graphic for your taste. Simple!
