Everyone makes mistakes.  Don’t let it get you down.  Many people today do respond via email.

Yikes.  I was Maid/Matron of Honor in a wedding once where myself and the bride did the same thing when we were stuffing the envelopes.  Luckily we realized before we put them in the mail and were able to get new envelopes asap.

I’m sure the people who know you, will know you aren’t a tacky person.  I’d just spread the word that it was an accident so no one is off put.  Then maybe add a stamp in everyone’s favor bags as a cute mea culpa.

@Mrs Hedgehog: lol we don’t have favor bags, no worries. well kind of – we’re doing a candy buffet. but anyway. I wouldn’t fret about the stamps..hell, we stamped all of ours and people are still losing them. so then they have to pay for another stamp anyway. whatevsss the people who will send it back quick will send it back quick, but regardless of stamps, you’ll be chasing some people down anyway 🙂

If it makes you feel any better, I forgot to put a wedding invitation in one of our envelopes, I just put the reply card in. On another, I didn’t even write the address and it got sent back to me. And who knows what I else I prob. messed up on. You aren’t alone!

If I got an invitation and the reply card wasn’t stamped, I would be OUTRAGED…assuming I was a busybody with no sense of humor or proportion. 🙂

Ok I’m a really bad bride cuz my invites are still sitting in the box waiting to go out. Haven’t figured out if I’m addressing envelopes or using labels. Am I really behind?
