What do you do when you have JUST a few months left of a place that feels like an abusive bully? I literally feel sick every day coming here, but I have to until I get my savings goal capped. 🙁
I’m sorry for the pity party, but I need to vent for just a second. I keep trying to tell myself “just 11 more weeks” but it sounds soooo far away!!

I know what you mean. I’m at my job because I need to pay bills. Not because I love it. I’m here until I start graduate school in Fall of 2011, so I’ve got a lot longer. I constantly feel like I’m working for the weekends, and I hate that feeling.
But in the end, it’s just one more step to reaching my goals!

I know. It is the worst to hate your job. Just try to keep your life busy outside your work so that you have ways of keeping your spirits up. You aren’t going to be there much longer which is a good thing when you think about it!

Ugh…I’ve definitely been in a job like that. Just keep counting down silently to yourself, come in, do your job and leave. Try to ignore the drama going on around you and just make your money to meet your goal!!!

Soo many other people are leaving so I guess it makes me jealous. 🙁 I’ll try to do the best I can. I’ve been keeping a low profile for months, but I still end up seething when I leave. I can’t believe so many people out there in the working world are immature little brats.

I felt like that at my old job! Except the person I was having to put up with was my boss! She didn’t like me at ALL, but I was a good worker, hardly ever called in and I put in many excess hours outside of the office. I worked there for almost 4 years and I started feeling the way you do after only about 3 or 4 months! I stayed though because I needed to pay my bills, and it paid decent and was extremely close to my house.
Hang in there, you don’t have that long to go!

Just try to look at it on the positive; you have a job and can make money. Any time I am annoyed with work I remind myself I could be much worse off. Try not to think about the time left, it’ll only drag! Bad work environments are the worst.
