So I just ordered our wedding invitations on Vistaprint. I had been playing around with the different offers last night, seeing if it would be cheaper to order the invites, reception card, and rsvp card altogether in 1 order for 1 shipping price, vs doing the 50% off invites + its own shipping and then separately doing the free postcard order + its shipping.
I was also playing around with the idea of having the reception information printed on the back of the invitation to save paper and money, but after mulling it over myself and talking with FI’s mom, I decided to nix that idea and do a separate reception card. I was concerned mostly just if people would even think to look at the back of the invitation, so concerns over whether they’d even see that info. FI’s mom thought it would just be more convenient since some people like to keep their invitations and it wouldn’t get bent up etc… if everyone had a reception card.
Well, apparently I’m an idiot and didn’t realize until AFTER the order was placed that the invites I had in my shopping cart from last night were the ones with the reception info printed on the back side… I tried cancelling it immediately (as in minutes after I submitted it) but it won’t let me do it online.. So I have a feeling I’m not going to be able to cancel it even if I call at 8am tomorrow.. ugh.
If I can’t cancel it, is it terrible to have the reception info printed on the back of the invitation? Ugh, wish I would have noticed this mistake before I spent $75…. Any suggestions? Here’s what it looks like..
