I need to go from this
I cut all my hair off about 2 months ago! But trust me, it needed it, BAD! I couldnt even get a brush through it, it was so damaged, i would cry everytime i brushed it because it hurt so bad. So now its shiny and healthy and super short. I figured i could just buy some extensions. Well, appearantly you cant use heat on sythetics………..? Idk. Thats what i read. Is that true? I know nothing about extensions. How much do you need for it to look real? Plus what if im saying i do and a piece of my hair falls out. LOL! Fiance loved pointing that out to me. Does anyone have any experience with extensions?

It’s true, you can’t use heat on synthetics – they’ll melt. You can buy extensions made from real hair but they’re a lot more expensive.
Anyway, I like your hair how it is now. Super cute. I say rock it. Stick a fabulous accessory in there and be a short-haired bride! Here’s some inspiration for you:

@sloth…. I know, like $200 and up 🙁 I kinda had my heart set on long and down….. plus Fiance just said last night that he misses my long hair and cant wait to see what it long again at the wedding. And he usually could care less about how my hair is.

I love extensions personally. 🙂 I think you will look beautiful no matter how long or short your hair is- there are gorgeous short hair-dos, very chic!
BUT regardless of how beautiful you will objectively be on your wedding day, its imporant to feel really beautiful on your wedding day.
I would say if you can manage it in your budget (maybe pay less for some other part of your wedding)- get the extensions.
If you can’t manage it- you will still be gorgeous and your fiance won’t even be thinking about your hair when he is looking at you all done up in your pretty dress.

if you always imagined yourself with long hair on your wedding day cut from the budget somewhere else. i do think the short styles look super cute though!

You can go to sallys if you have one locally or you can go online and order real human hair and it will look great i recommend the euronext brand i use them on a daily bases and they are clip-in they run around 100.00 and you get a lof of different size pieces. See the link below they are on sale right now. You should order the closest to your color maybe dark brown and the best part is you can color them to match your hair perfectly! Hope this helps!!!

I wore extensions in a friend’s wedding, and to save some $$, I sewed the extensions onto the clips myself. It also didn’t take many (I think 4 or 5, and they came in packages of 3), so I think it ended up costing me about $50 or $60. Then, I just had the woman doing my hair clip them in.
On a side note, your eyes are GORGEOUS!

I think that since it’s something you really want, you should work it into your budget. You can buy the real human hair extensions at Sally’s, however if the texture or color is off from your natural it might show up in photographs. If you do it that way, I’d take the hair extensions to your salon and have your stylist blend in some of the color into your real hair so it matches perfectly.
The MOST foolproof way is to go with the real-deal extensions. Find a salon that does the Cinderella hair extensions and it will be the most natural looking option. Yes, it’s expensive. But worth it if you know that’s what you really want. Plus, it’ll last for atleast 6 weeks (or much longer if you take care of them) so you could have beautiful long hair for your honeymoon as well! (If you’re taking one!)
