I dunno… i think hands in generall “look old”… we just notice it more when we’re looking at pictures of “just hands”.

OMG, I have wrinkly, elephant-y, dark knuckles, sun damage and dry skin! AHA lotions and wearing sunscreen on my hands have helped a bit (they were worse , believe it or not!) but they’re still yucky. I don’t know if mine are so much old as just plain hideous. LOL! I’m working on it. Losing weight, eating less sugar/carb and staying more hydrated have helped my skin overall.

I have old lady hands too! They are weird and dry/almost cracked looking, even after I put lotion on. I wash my hands a million times a day and wear gloves all day at work. Doesn’t really help the hand situation! Also, since I’ve been getting all paparazzi on my ring, I’ve noticed how crooked my fingers are! My ring finger has a bump on it and my middle finger is totally crooked/bent. Sigh.

That being said…I am thankful for my strong and very useful hands 🙂

ppresto:  ppresto! Your ring and hands are gorgeous!

I think weddingbee does give people a hand complex. I am waiting on a proposal (someday!) and i constantly am freaking about my hands, nails, and cuticles because the pictures on here make the “hand shot” worth everything! Haha All of you ladies have beautiful hands.

My mom has dry hands and always complains about them but theyare the hands that she still wears her rings on 30 years later! My dad loves her hands. So let’s put some lotion on, drink some water, and love our old hands

I moisturizer a lot. I think i might have ecsema or something.  Because sometimes moisturizing doesn’t help.  I have always had old looking hands though from what my family said.

penguina:  Thanks so much, you’re too kind… and you’re right, we should make the best of it. Thank goodness I don’t still have eczema like I did as a child. 😛

Old or rough hands, lack of thigh gaps, height/weight… it really seems like there’s always something driving us crazy. lolz

Small Old Lady Hands right here. I am 43 and have 2 kids so I am constantly banging my hands up or tearing cuticles. I had to remove the ring from my index finger due to soap irritation.
