And there goes my workout routine for this week. I thought it was just allergies kicking in, but it’s been 4 days and no relief from my stronger allergy meds, and the congestion has moved to my chest, which I hear is the main signifier to not workout. Above the neck – okay to go. Below the neck – curl up with a good book.
It gets better – when I’m sick, I want food that’s awful for me and have no willpower. Guess I’ll just suck it up and try to be as good as I can.

I hope you feel better soon! That doesn’t sound good at all. I don’t think it would hurt to indulge a little since you are sick, just don’t go overboard.

I think the key food wise might be, to eat whatever you like, once you really enjoy it, and it doesn’t give you indigestion/heartburn/queasy feelings etc after. And maybe a good iron tonic or something after, my mother used to always go on about a good tonic when you’ve been sick… Best of luck!

Thanks ladies! I’m hoping to round the bend tomorrow. But I’m definitely going to take an awesome nap when I get home. And eat some watermelon. In season and so tasty – I’ve eaten almost the whole melon by myself since we bought it on Saturday. Yay hydration?

Still sick – went to the doctor on Wednesday and she said I could have antibiotics if I still felt like crap on Friday because then it probably moved from a viral infection to bacterial. Guess who’s going to start popping those pills – me.
Hopefully I’ll be feeling back to normal next week – I’m tired of being exhausted after 20 minutes on the elliptical.
