I hate when I do this to my body. I always end up beating myself up for it afterwards.
I didn’t sleep well last night, and to be honest have been struggling for the last few months the closer the wedding gets and the more overwhelmed I am.
I had to be up at 4AM this morning, and then I went to work. I ended up staying late to take care of some things, and got home later this afternoon. I watched TV for a little bit, had a snack, and then went to take a nap. I had set an alarm but must’ve set it for the wrong time (AM instead of PM) and so that nap went on way too long.
I needed the sleep. I’m just so zonked anymore, and it’s making me cranky and moody. I can’t fall asleep at night because of my naps sometimes, but if I don’t take one in the afternoon I can’t even function.
I’m sick of this cycle and will be more than happy when the wedding is over and life can return back to some resemblance of normal.
Anyone else losing sleep over stress?
