Thank you everyone for the comments I will definitely take them all into consideration as I continue my dress hunt!! I am not crossing dress #1 off my list just yet, I want to try it on again…I know it’s unusual to have my Fiance with me BUT I know if he comes with me and we agree on a dress we both love then I definitely won’t have dress regret…I know it shouldn’t matter but he always helps me with these things, he just has good fashion sense! I’ve been looking at a different designer that carries a ton of styles that I love (Martina Liana) so I am hoping to head over to one of her retailers at some point in the next few weeks!! I’m going to try not to post again until I choose the final dress OR if I am REALLY stuck between two dresses, I feel so annoying LOL

I know honestly he was the same way initially. I would have to trick him to try to show him a dress I liked on the computer and than he would get mad when he saw. I am just really dependent on his opinion for certain things and so indecisive…I know it sounds dumb but I need him to reassure me that I’m making the right choice and he is one of those people that makes a decision right away- he either loves it or hates it….(and when he loves something on me he makes me feel so good about myself- lame i know :))

@Dell79: Okay sorry, I know I just voted for #5 which your Fiance doesn’t enjoy BUT if you had to get a ball gown to please him… It wouldn’t be bad!
I mean I could totally see you in the ballgown cuz you’re tiny anyway you would look lovely in it… just plz stay true to what you want as well!
His heart will stop when he sees you anyway!

Get what you want, why should he decide??!!! I know some people want their man’s opinion, but I don’t. I have good fashion sense and he will think I look beautiful no matter what. Your fiance will think you look amazing no matter what!!!! Get the dress you love, and as Lori says on “Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta” keep the fox out of the hen house!! lol.
I don’t trust a man’s sense when it comes to wedding gowns!! My fiance has a good sense of style… but bridal is way out of his league. Even David Tutera… ICK. I hate most of the gowns he has in his line and usually don’t agree with his gown choices for girls on the show.
Sorry to take over your post – needed to rant about that!! 🙂
ANYWAY, you have the perfect figure… I think it would be a waste to cover it under a ball gown!!! Show what you have worked for! THat is, unless you were born that way, haha.

They only thing I can say if there is one dress you shouldn’t ever comprimise on it’s your wedding gown.
I wish I could wear black or gray to my wedding but Fi said no, so I get it about getting advice. However in the end I’m picking a dress I love, and a dress he doesn’t hate. I know at the end of the day it doesn’t matter because we are getting married and love other and we both will be happy on the day of.
Since we are the brides wearing the dresses and will be spending a ton of money, and a whole day in them, I say fashion advice and fashion sense be damn just pick what you love and like more.

No foxes in the hem house!
Honestly, guys don’t have the imagination that we do. We can stand in socks in a sample gown and see it on the big day, with hair and makeup done, veil, etc. They just see the sample in front of them.
It’s sweet that he participated, but ditch him next time.

** I didn’t mean it would be a “waste” I meant a “shame.” I was thinking about that this morning!!
