I don’t know where to post this but had to say something. I am pissed. And I am usually a very patient person. I reviewed our venue a few weeks ago because we had such a bad experience with them I wanted other brides to know honestly that this was not the best place to do business with. I checked back on wedding wire (where I revied my vendors) only to find a comment back from the center saying I was mistaken and they had graciously allowed us the morning to set up (when it was stated over and over months up to the wedding that we would have at LEAST the day or two before for set up due to the holiday season and not much going on in the center)
Well…. fast forward to the evening before our wedding when we were supposed to set up and there is a bingo game going on that ‘cannot be moved or cancelled’ that we knew nothing about. This pushed our wedding set up to the day OF and I was running around in a robe doing all the decorations myself due to lack of help as well as the center employees moving things around without my knowledge the afternoon before our evening wedding. I was very upset at how this turned out and that even on our agreement that we signed it stated we had time to set up that was not allowed us.
I don’t know what else to say but that I am very upset they are now negating everything I said in the review with the intention of gaining interest from other brides. Our interaction with them was not positive or truthful since they knew about the set up and time necessary from day one, 6 months in advance. I don’t want other brides to have my bad experience but can say that I am very sad it ended up this way for us.
