While I am a little worried that something else may come up, I’m really hoping that everything will be good to go. When we were venue shopping back in May most of the venues we looked at were already booked up for Sept/Nov/Oct so I know if I tried venue shopping again it would be really hard to find something we liked. In Az because of the heat fall is the most popular wedding season. I also needed something convenient because the majority of my guests are from out of town. The two things I cared most about was convenience for my guests and alcohol!

Nice! That’s great that they’ll go with the original estimate. Glad I could help – it’s easier to be a little stern over the internet than in real life. Good job 🙂

That is great news! It sounds like at the next meeting you should sit down with her and ask for a formal estimate that both parties will sign, so that they can’t keep bringing things up. Its good that she knows this early that you aren’t a pushover.

When you do see her be kind and say you very much appriciate how she has handled the situation and honored the contract. After you’ve expressed your gratitude move on and continue planning.
