So, we put deposits down on two flower girl dresses back in December and the order was placed I believe the first week of January. Or so we were told. We called back periodically and they kept saying they’d get back to us with a date when they were supposed to be here. Finally, it’s April and I’ve had it because every other dress has come in already, including my mother’s dress that she ordered from the SAME place in MARCH. Well, they told my mom that the dresses were being made and shipped out in order of the wedding date priorty because it’s a busy season. Yeah, I understand that, Spring is wedding season, but these were ordered in JANUARY! But, they assured us that we’d have the dresses before the wedding. They finally came in, about a week before the wedding… My aunt made an appointment to go pick up hers but when she gets there, they don’t have it… (they have an odd delivery thing set up) because apparently they missed the UPS truck… (and this is about an hour’s drive to get there, btw) and they didn’t even do the courtesy of CALLING before my aunt got there. So, there was a bit of drama, a resolution was made, but my other aunt wasnt happy with it and proceeded to go all the way out there to get the dress for HER daughter. The dresses were there now (was later in the day) but they are HORRIBLE! These dresses were $90 and definitely don’t look like it. A better dress could have been purchased from a department store for less… The flowers around the middle are glued, GLUED! to the ribbow! The ribbon is is attached to the dress by THREE pins, kind of like safety pins but not really (I dont know the name for them), oh and the ribbon is also GLUED to the pins… One of the pins came unglued from the ribbon so the flower sash is just hanging there… Oh, and the dress was supposed to be ivory with pink flowers, but both dresses are a bright white (I’m not even in a white dress!). Seriously, this is RIDICULOUS. The wedding is in 3 days so there is nothing really to do about it, but I seriously hope my Aunts get their money back because not only did it take forever, but they aren’t the right dress, and they are NOT worth $90!
Here was the sample that I saw at the store and fell in love with (I didn’t get a pic of the dresses they actually got though)
