@epilove:  It’s perfectly natural and normal. Don’t worry about what’s out of your control. Just try to take one day at a time.

I have blah days pretty regularly but none of that blah is related to waiting.  My blah days typically start out with me having to try to get some sort of electronics out of our big dogs stomach.  Those days never go well, lol.

My days get “blah” because the days are dragggggggggggggggiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnngggg ooommmggg.

I’m so close to graduating. One month. And I’m pretty much done with dealing with everyone/homework. I just want to put my hands up and say:

    “BE GONE, SATAN!”

And I have to admit, this does make my “waiting” for the ring seem harder. I just have until Thanksgiving weekend…and man, the other months FLEW BY, but November?

    FUHGETABOUTIT.

But the days aren’t unbearable. Just irritating and slow. I’m mostly just ready to be in the next stage of my life because two major things are happening so close together.

My blah is coming from the fact that I’m currently 3/4 of the way through a 12 hour shift, and I feel like I’ve been here for 20 hours… Usually these days fly but for some reason today is just taking forever. I’m also PMS-ing so…..

It’s not really related to waiting at all either… but today might have dragged more because I’m slowly backing away from wedding stuff (no more looking at wedding dresses and engagement rings for a while).

@Torrid:  My last two classes DRAGGEDDDDD as well.  I think you get to the point where the bright light at the end of the tunnel is larger than the tunnel itself and then you just get so tired of being in the tunnel. I’m so glad I finally finished.

@epilove:  I do love engagement stories, but I used to look at the rings happily with no selfish intent. But when I started looking at them like, “That would look really nice on my hand” or “I don’t like that for me” or “I have to remember that cut for when SO asks me about rings”. (Same for dresses pretty much). I realized that I couldn’t keep looking at them. SO and I have agreed we’re not getting engaged before late 2013-early 2014 (at the earliest!)

So I really have to back down, especially when I realized I keep talking about it… It’s just a bit too much.

@Bunny82:  On one hand, I feel like I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, but immediately after graduation I start my Masters, and I’m just like

    =.=

    Ugh.

I’ll keep that in mind when I start my Master’s.  For the time being I’m just happy to not have school right now, lol.  I did my four year degree in 2.5 years while holding down a very demanding full time job.  I needed a break in between that madness and Master’s, lol.  Good luck to you though!  Do you at least get a week or so off of down time?  If so I’d fill it with massages and margaritas, haha.

I try not to dwell on it.  I know it’s going to happen, so I try to be very patient and not get done or nag on my SO.  He has something super special planned & I don’t want to take that away from him.
