So I was on Instagram this morning, and an ex of mine from like 5 years ago had posted something on a mutual friend’s picture. Out of boredom and curiosity, I clicked over to his Instagram. Well, I accidentally liked one of his videos because I accidentally double clicked on it on my phone (ugh, why is that even a feature?!). I immediately unliked it and cursed the gods. Well, I just now went on Twitter, which I haven’t posted on since 2010 and just read posts by comedians and other people I follow. Since I never really use it, I still “follow” him on Twitter since we were together when I first joined. Well, look what little gem I see by him!

Damn you, social media. Looks like I didn’t escape the push notification -__- I’m going to go crawl under a rock now.

He must have some unresolved feelings if seeing that you liked his video makes him think about you and feel weird all day. By the way, is he 11?

msfreemis: Knowing him, he probably does have unresolved feelings. We were each other’s first long relationship, and he was really bummed when we broke up. He tried to get me back for a long time, but that wasn’t happening! He’s one of those guys who really likes attention on social media, and I can’t say I’m super surprised he posted something like this. He’s always been very immature.

Oh nooooo!!! Ack. One time a couple years ago I was surfing Facebook on my phone and accidentally clicked “like” on a status of a girl I went to high school with (but otherwise had no real relationship with) announcing that her mother was terminally ill. I unliked it immediately and can only hope she knew it was an accident. Derp to the max.

Oh hell no.
I accidentally liked a photo while browsing the Instagram of some girl my bestfriend doesn’t care for. The following day she made her account private. HAHA.

If he feels weird all day from someone liking his video why’d he post it? Oh, that’s right. To get attention. I’d be tempted to tweet “laura blank inadvertently liked something today by mistake and a mountain was made of this molehill. #attentiondeprivedex”

Cory_loves_this_girl: Maybe it would be a good idea to remove him so that A) No more accidents and B) he doesn’t think it means you “like him” again and start pursuing you.

Oh God, so many times my sausage fingers have accidentally liked strangers and exes pics when being nosey, what a weirdo for screen-shotting and posting it though, definitely still pissed that you dumped him!

msfreemis: I’m not worried about him thinking I like him or trying to pursue me. I doubt that he would, and I’m an extremely happily married woman and mom. He’s just a douchebag that apparently can’t let anything slide! Oh well.
