What if you got an illusion back or lace bolero and put an opaque material that exactly matched your skin under it? You’d need to look for a seamstress who could do this without making it look obvious, and yu wouldn’t be able to tan before your wedding, but you also wouldn’t have to worry about getting makeup all on the inside of your dress, or the makeup wearing off.
Alternately, you could just request that your photog get rid of it the best he/she can. Won’t help at the wedding, but at least you wont have to look at it later.
If your makeup artist doesn’t do tattoo cover, ask her for recommendations for someone that does. Tattoo cover takes time to do properly and having someone else handle it can be the best option.
My sister has a back tattoo and she wore a bolero with her strapless dress.
Personally I have a tattoo on the back of my right shoulder and I’m not covering it up, but if I were going to, I’d agree with PPs here and say Dermablend. The stuff is magic 🙂
