I hated mine.  I’m almost glad there was a delay in being about to blog about my wedding for the Weddingbee front page, but I think I’m about to start showing them.

I’m excited to share the details, but not excited to post pictures of myself.  BUT this community is pretty laid back and open minded that I’m sure it’ll be okay.  ๐Ÿ™‚

@freckles5672:

How could you possibly say you are an ugly bride that is ridiculous! First of all there is no such thing and secondly, you look fantastic.  Love the hair.

@Elvis:  It’d be a violation of copyright – it would be kind of similar to taking a painting and paintng over to your taste – photos, like works of art, are subject to copyright and intellectual property laws ๐Ÿ™‚

I agree that the photographer should have noticed your bra showing, but that can (and should) be fixed by him. While it is a fast paced day, it is still the photographer’s responsibility to look for these things. I’m a wedding photographer myself and I’m constantly helping people adjust things that are off (I’d rather take fewer pictures and get it right in camera than “spray and pray” a bunch that I’ll have to PS later) – I even carry double sided fashion tape with me at all times for situations like this. With that said though, these things do happen – but they are always fixable ๐Ÿ™‚

To the OP, my suggestion would be to take a few steps back from the photos. Maybe don’t look at them for a week or two, and then come back to them. You are seeing things about yourself nobody else is seeing – we all see the “complete” picture, and you’re zooming in on a few things. My honest belief is that the more time passes, the more you will come to love these photos. They truly are beautiful, show your personality, and (small clothing issues aside) are high quality photos.

@freckles5672:  pressure to look beautiful? please. even without makeup, a bride looks her most beautiful on her wedding day because she would be absolutely radiant.
