I’m feeling the same way.  I wanted a ruffled dress and ended up with a satin one (very traditional).  I love your dress by the way, you look fantastic!

I love your dress!!

I know what you mean about breaking the rule.

I had wanted a lacey, light dress for my wedding but ended up purchasing Casablanca 1881. Completely opposite. I like it a lot, but because I practically stalk any dress posts on here, I fell in love with Amy Michelson’s Grace. Lacey, light & airy, and absolutely gorgeous.

But it is and was waaaay out of my budget. I still think about it though when I see pictures of myself in my 1881 dress. Alittle bit of dress envy.

Good luck with your search! πŸ™‚

I love your dress!

i wanted a ruffly dress (back when wedding dresses werent made with ruffles, lol) and i bought a dress from Black House White Market for my rehearsal dinner and got my “fix”.

Instead of buying a new wedding dress (cuz the one you have is gorgeous!), get a new rehearsal dinner dress. Then you can keep wearing it.

I absolutely love your dress! If I hadn’t already decided on mine, I would definitely want something like that! Good gracious that is beautiful!

I LOVE the Christos Desiree dress with its little polka dots.

The honeypie dress is adorable, it would make a very fun reception dress, or maybe even a get away dress (if you are planning on making an exit from the reception).

can you use it for something else? I mean I don’t think you should buy a completely new dress!
