I’ve only been engaged for about 2 weeks, and I am totally and completely ADDICTED to planning my wedding. I’m a grad student, and I have completely lost all focus. During class I’m on my laptop looking at wedding stuff. When I’m at home and should be doing homework, I’m looking up wedding stuff. When I should be sleeping, I’m thinking about wedding stuff. I love it, but I hate it all at the same time. Does this go away? I can’t afford to be thinking about my wedding 24/7. It’s still 16 months away!!!!

I’m with you on this 100%. We have figured out the venue, photographer, food (no caterer yet), I’ve picked out my dress….and I know its early! ARRGH! If you can figure out how to stop, please lmk! lol
We are getting married in Vegas 11/11/11, but having an Ohio ceremony 6/02/12, which is the one we are more prepared for!

I am exactly the same way, even while I am Christmas shopping I am looking at things and thinking how I can use them in the wedding.

Awww, I can understand! I’m a grad student too and I found that there were times (like right at the beginning of the engagement) that I was on here and other sites a lot getting informaiton. It died down after a while and then shortly before the wedding it kicked back up a lot. Not sure if that helps you, but just my personal observation 🙂
