Okay so I posted my Save The Dates a few weeks ago, and am about to send them out. I know I’m already late, but better late than never haha. Now that I’m thinking about it though, I’m kinda worried. They say “Patrick and Rachel are tying the knot” but never state my last name. I’m worried when I send them to distant relatives that I haven’t seen in awhile, (my parents moved across the country when i was little so my extended family ALL lives 1300 miles away) they aren’t going to realize who I am!!!
I know it sounds really dumb, but my mom insisted that great great aunt XXX is still getting an invite even though they’ve only met me twice and live 1300 miles away and can’t afford to come… don’t wanna hurt anyone’s feelings though so we invited them all. Any ideas on how to fix this? I ordered return labels that say “The Future Mr. & Mrs. lovemysailor1018” so that’s out, maybe I could write it on the back or stamp it on the back since they’re postcards and are blank on the back?

A stamp is a great idea! Or sign with your signature and his on the back of distant family cards only…a little personal touch. Good luck!

Maybe something like:
“Rachel LASTNAME will become Mrs. Patrick LASTNAME in TOWN, STATE” (idk if that sounds wierd?)
“Rachel LASTNAME & Patrick LASTNAME will be married/wed in TOWN, STATE”
You should put what city the wedding is also, it just helps out of towners. I didn’t do it & got a lot of “where will your wedding be” questions :).

This totally happened to us! And leave it to Future Mother-In-Law to point it out. We said “Laura & Ron are tying the knot!” and she said people called her and couldn’t figure out who was getting married at first. Arg. Turns out it was only 2 people that Future Mother-In-Law had wanted invited and that haven’t seen Fiance in years!
Back to your problem! Is your webpage on there anywhere? Our webpage was listed on there and the URL has our last names in it.

@baletrina: We don’t have a webpage =[
@canthugallcats: and @Mrs.LilyLunaLove: Should I write that on each or print it out on paper and glue it? Or stamp? (I’d have to figure out how to stamp all that though haha)
Thanks for the help ladies!

@LoveMySailor1018: do you have a printer?you could maybe print directly on the back of the postcard? i think that may be hard to stamp!
