Oof, not pregnant, but I’d suggest the Schick Quattro with the trimmer on the end. He couldn’t cut you with it, but you’ll get a really close buzz (it’s got 3 adjustable levels). You could maybe even do it yourself with a mirror, because I’d imagine it’d be much safer than razor blades unguided near the hooha.

I am 35 weeks now and I just shave by feel, I have never cut myself doing it this way, my plan ios to just keep it up until the baby is born, so that way if it isn’t freshly done, it won’t be a hot mess of a bush, just a little bit there, so it will be mostly clean.

@KansasPrincess11:  First of all I’m going to start calling it my Britney now!

Second of all, I think that waxing could be a good option.

@TurtleDoves:  You know what I think would be a lot easier. I use a schick intuituion and that could really help with the amount of applied pressure he uses. Since the shaving cream is built up so far around the razor it’s nearly impossible to cut yourself.

@KansasPrincess11:  I completely get where you’re coming from!! How about going for a Brazilian? They’re awesome and last for weeks.

@KansasPrincess11:  Yeah, don’t worry about it.  My husband and I still have tickle fights and wrestling matches.  I generally win when I titty twist him.

Last time I shaved was a few weeks ago (week 37) so it’s not that bad yet. I MAY shave tomorrow if I can work up the energy but that would DEFINITELY be the last time! I don’t want to be like the freaking rain forest down there but at the same time not too worried about it.

Like @Ms Mini I’ve been shaving by feel & haven’t had any issues with cutting myself.

Oh and I tried a mirror….. it was WAY more difficult than shaving by feel. lol

My reading skills were totally off when I read this. I had no idea what lady SCRAPEING was. Scaping is a much more pleasant topic.

When the time comes I’ll probably be too lazy, but maybe if I am very self concious the Fiance (hopefully husband by the time I am pregnant, haha) would help me shave.

@Ms Mini:  <<<  This is what I did.  And yes, I don’t think the doctors care…  You know lots of women poop while they’re giving birth, right? Haha.

I’ve read that for “hygiene purposes” they shave you when you get to the hospital anyway…

@MalbecMe:  Your poop reference makes me think of Ina May’s “Let Your Monkey Do it” reference in her Guide to Childbirth:

“Monkeys aren’t self-conscious about making noise, farting, or pooping during labor. All queens, duchesses and movie stars poop- every day, if they are healthy.”

LOL
