i was thinking of going with a black ring but i ended up on berricle.com with a 25%off discount and i came upon two rings a tanzanite solitaire with a beautiful basket and a sapphire halo.
i ordered the tanzanite but now im having second thoughts, helpp
and this is why i picked it
BUT i loved the sapphire halo ugghh
so do i keep the tanzanite or go with the sapphire halo?

@Missus_LLC: I really love the one you chose. I like the plain shank but that’s because I’m not really into blingy rings. I think you made an excellent choice!

Don’t think you could go wrong with either! The first is unusual, though, and I like that!

I like the quirkiness of the first and I think tanzanite is beautiful. I like the first but it was a tough call. Sort of wish I could take the pave diamonds off of number two ring and put it on the band of number one to add a little sparkle.

Honestly, while I love both pictures, the first is definitely my favorite. Simple, classic but with a unique twist!

I may be a bit biased because I loooove tanzanite, but I think you made the right choice.
I like the setting of the first ring more, because it looks so classic from the top, but you have the blingy basket that you can see from the side 🙂

I think you should go with whichever one makes your heart sing. Or if you cannot choose but would really be happy with either, have Fiance pick and surprise you! The you would have a ring you love, and know that it was your FI’s favorite too :]
They are both stunning, you can’t go wrong.

I love love the tanzanite ring. I think you made a great choice. I love sapphires (I have one) but I’m not fond of halos and too many diamonds.

I would go with sapphire only because it is a far more durable stone than tanzanite.

I would get the sapphire instead if I were you. It’s more suitable for everyday wear & I prefer the look of the halo ring you posted.

I think the tanzanite ring is prettier (LOVE that setting), but I would go with the sapphire because it’s a more durable stone. I didn’t end up with a tanzanite ring (even though I fell in love with one) because we decided it was too soft for everyday wear.

Sapphire is definitely a more durable stone so I might go with it just for that reason, also that tanzanite that you posted is really way too darkly saturated!

thanks everyone but i ended up keeping the tanzanite i wont be wearing it every day and as for the sapphire halo it will be mine lol my birthdays coming up and its my birthstone. Time to start hinting Fiance want i want hehe

@AshleyR83: Agreed. i’d pick the sapphire for e-ring just b/c its more durable. But if you’re not wearing it everyday anyways, both are lovely rings.

I LOVE the first one, it’s different in a subtle way and so so pretty!
