Berkshire / London bee here. You know I don’t think I’ve known anyone IRL with a halo. I think slightly simpler designs are popular in the UK.

Mine hasn’t arrived yet but it’s been ordered! I’m from the Midlands although I don’t live in England any more. Mine is morganite which is popular on this site but I don’t know anyone back home who has one.

imo91 :  I am not a UK bee so sorry to stop in but I love your ruby ring. I adore rubies, but I really love that setting!

channybee :  California bee here, so I can’t play! But I wanted to say that your ring is stunning! It’s so hard to capture sparkles in a photograph but yours positively glows!

Also, I love seeing ring threads from around the world. I feel like in my area the rigns I see are pretty similar, but there is such a variety on this thread 🙂

I’m Canadian (FI is British) but we live in the UK. Total carat weight for my ring is .60 set in platinum. I think his family thought it was pretty flashy though in Canada it’s probably average (we did well considering our ages). His mom’s engagement ring is tiny sapphires and diamond and his sister’s is a small emerald.
