@thecoffeefiend:  Why not start a thread for Australian engagement rings?  It’s been so interesting to see the UK ones and I’d love to see if there’s a similarity between Australian ones too.

Not the best photo but this is mine smile I don’t see many people in the UK who have the same style of ring as me, I think a classic solitare is more a standard go-to ring here!

UK bee here, I think UK rings tend to be smaller than US ones, more yellow gold as well and simple solitaires.

@Waytooexcited:  I’m also in Cardiff!

My engagement ring is topaz (from Alba Rose who are no longer in business). Wedding band is from Clogau- also topaz. My eternity ring is diamond and ruby (my daughter is a July baby) also from Alba Rose.

We eloped in November 2016 at Bailbrook House in Bath. It was amazing! Absolutely no guests. We had a brilliant day.

Hi I’m a UK bee too ! I definitley see a difference between america and the UK. I scoured pinterest and found the infinity style I loved and there was nothing in the UK stores like it until one day I saw one in T.H.Baker, only difference was my dream was rose gold and the chocolate quartz we already owned.

So we made mine based on that ring.. here is the original.

And here is mine below

14k rose gold with a 3carat cushion cut chocolate quartz stone and diamonds on the side, perfect for me but i get questions on it a lot and a lot of “thats different”
