Can you help me? I am wondering if anyone has had any trouble getting married through someone who has been ordained online through a church like the Universal Life Church? My brother wants to marry us and asked me to double check with the courts for the legality of it but I cannot seem to get any County Clerks (in any County in GA) on the phone! Has anyone had a problem with these churches? Do you know of any specifically that ARE legal? Thanks!

Yes, the marriage will be legal if everything else about the marriage is valid (age, no fraud, you actually mean to get married, no one is drunk, no closer family relations than 1st cousins, etc).
Check with the county clerks office to see if the minister has to register or in some way validate his credientials with their office before marrying you.
