@AlmostMrsShield:  Do you have a follow up planned with GP? They should follow up the cyst anyway. If not definatly call them to ask. Do you know if they took any images of endometrium for reference?

Whenever I go for a scan I always ask the tech what they are seeing – they cant be too detailed but  can give you a general idea(in NZ at least)

@AlmostMrsShield:  LOL she will be the perfect aunt 🙂

Hey, I have a kidney cyst and it gives me UTI’ symptoms…they just watch it for right now…it hasnt grown in over a year so they say no big deal – just drink lotsa water, come in when it hurts etc.

But hey, I know the doctors I have dont say ANYTHING unless they really think it – just too much room for error on their part if they do that…so with an ultrasound, and for both of them to ask you questions in that regard, this is probably the real deal!  🙂

@AlmostMrsShield:  No, I was responding to another poster and exaggerating!  I actually think your doctor was trying to cover their butt in case they picked up the wrong chart.

@AlmostMrsShield:  depends on the hospital. i work at a primary MD’s office. I had results from a patient’s MRI that was done this AM by 3pm and was able to call the dad. but it also depends on how fast the radiologist does the reading and if the primary dr’s office calls for the results or just waits for them to arrive

@AlmostMrsShield:  haha i have zero clue how to read an ultrasound even after having seen a bunch of them done while working in the ER.  absolutely no idea.
