if you love the dress, that’s all that matters. focus on what you love about it and how you felt when you tried it on. everyone will think you look gorgeous on your wedding day!

OMG big sister.  You have to go with the dress YOU WANT.  No one else is wearing it but YOU.  Yes we will all have opinions but none of us are going to be standing in your shoes wearing the dress, or looking at pics after the wedding and thinking ‘oh it should have been the other dress’.  You already know this.  Plus your figure is so banging you look good in everything.  I haven’t bought a dress yet but I already know myself.  If I bought a dress to placate others I would be bitter for the next 50 years, no lie.  In fact, I forbid you from not purchasing the dress you want!  (((HUGS)))

Which one did you pick? Number 2 in the other poll? Did anyone say what they don’t like about it or were they just pretty vague?

I picked the last one, but because not only did I love how it looked on you overall, it was one I haven’t seen a million times before. Is that maybe something that was mentioned about your dress? The fact that it’s a popular style?

I never really understood so many people wanting so many opinions of the dress they love. My Mom was the only one with me when we went, and I didn’t even care if she loved it, as long as I was happy. I say you should buy the one you love the most.

Maybe if you understand where they’re coming from, it will help you come to peace with your decisions.  πŸ™‚  I mean, 1st and foremost, the only thing that really does matter is that YOU love the dress.  On the day of, you’ll hear everybody say how beaituful you are and that’s not just bc of your beauty, but bc of the confidence, happiness, and love that will surround you.  So, remember that.

All the dresses you posted on your previous post look fantastic on you.  Really.  But, out of the 4, there are some that do look better on you (the trumpet style that you already admited lol)  That doesn’t mean the A-line looks bad on you, it looks great!  There are just others that look better with your body type.  That being said, those trumpet-style dresses obviously aren’t the style you’re going for.  You fell in love with the A-line …. and guess what?  The A-line looks amazing on you!!!!

Your friends are looking at the overall picture on which dress looks better on you.  You are looking for a dress in your style that looks great on you.  Both of you are right; your friends will soon understand that their favorite is not your style, and that’s that.  In the meantime, go into this KNOWING that you look amazing in the A-line, and once again, on the day of … they are all going to be agreeing.  πŸ˜‰  Good luck and if it counts, I’m a HUGE fan on your dress.  Laughing

I think you look completely fantstic in all of the dresses in your other post. There’s not a bad choice in the bunch. Just make sure you are happy with your selection. If you are, then don’t worry about it! Once you’re all done up on the day of, everyone will love it. No matter what.

No one at your wedding (other than your BMs will know about the other dresses) and you look BEAUTIFUL in your dress!

It got the lowest votes in your poll yes but you looked fabulous in all of the dresses and we were just picking our favourites on you.

I hope you can come to terms with your decision – your dress looks gorgeous on you!

I voted for one of the other dresses because you look super hot in the trumpet/mermaid silhouette! It’s just so much less common than an A-line, since most people can’t pull it off. If I was as lucky as you, I would take advantage! But if you love the A-Line, get that one!

I think people were complimenting your body more than choosing a dress in the poll πŸ™‚  I remember the poll and I actually couldn’t pick one because I liked them all.  If I were in your shoes though, I would choose the same one- its BEAUTIFUL, it has a bit of bling, and I don’t want to wear the trumpet style either.  I think you absolutely won’t regret it if you get that dress.

If it makes you feel any better, dress number 2 was BY FAR my favorite dress in your poll.  It is lovely, classic, classy and incredibly flattering.  I think it looked better on you than any of the others, I think it is more “bridal” than any of the others and you are going to be absolutely stunning!  Congratulations on finding YOUR perfect dress.

I went through this a little bit with my mother.  I let her talk me out of dresses I really liked.  As a result, I ended up being a 3 dress bride.  I am glad you are sticking with the one YOU liked the best.  They all looked great on you so it’s not like you could have made a bad choice.

I also looked at it this way–if I was going to a fancy event, I would probably buy a mermaid/trumpet/other streamlined silhouette.  It wouldn’t be an a-line, ballgown or anything like that–they would be too fancy for any kind of event I would ever attend.  So, this was my “last chance” to wear something with a bigger skirt.
