Men are kind of silly sometimes. I would just tell him that you want to wait two months for the wedding :). I’m sure he won’t be that upset about it.

There’s no rule that says you can’t be a few months preggers at your wedding…on the other hand, if you really want to be married first- and it’s going to be just the two of you… then why not move up your wedding date?

If it were me in your shoes I personally wouldn’t see  any issues in trying now!!! 🙂 It might take a little bit of time anyway, and besides, people know you’re planning this wedding already right? So although their initial reaction might be “shot gun”, once they really think about it and know that you have a bit of time invested in planning your elopement they’ll figure it out!

Also, being in your first trimester at your wedding would blow.

But that’s sort of great news, isn’t it?! I know how much you’re dying to have a bebe of your very own!!

I would say start trying in about a month… That way even if you do get pregnant right off the bat you probably wouldn’t even KNOW on your wedding day. 🙂

I’m not helping am I?? 😉

@panterapeach: You’re not gonna get much checkin’ from me. I want a baby just as bad and I think it’s wonderful you guys are on the same page and ready. But I know the other will put things in prospective.

You don’t want to get married in your first trimester when you are SO exhausted and possibly sick all day long. Two months isn’t much longer to wait!

Are you planning a honeymoon?  If yes, I would wait to get pregnant until then so you can enjoy your one last trip/freedom before becoming parents.

i would start prepping your body now if you haven’t done that already and just wait 2 months to ttc. you don’t want to be sick on your wedding day! but now would be a good time to see your doc, go off the pill, start taking prenatals, exercising, etc.

I think that’s great news – if it were me I would start!

I agree with Kitzy – definitely start the body prep now, that way he won’t feel like you just don’t want to and will know that you want to have your body in prime baby making shape before you guys actively TTC. Good luck!
