It’s HERE. I know exactly where it’s at. I want to take it out and wear it. And I admit to nothing about whether that has happened.
🙁 I know he’s planning some sort of big proposal…
And I know it ain’t happenin’ for weeks, probably after finals.
Anyone else relating or have advice?

Ohhhh yes I can! I don’t know where it is, but it’s in the house somewhere… so tempted to search for it!!!! he’s making me wait too, poeey 🙁

Nope, Fiance kept it in the glovebox of the car because I am a bad, bad person and would have looked for it like a fiend.

@artichokesalad: I saw my ring yesterday. She’s so beautiful. And I want to wear it NOW, but I’m letting him plan. I’m having dreams about it now!

I searched every nook and cranny of the house even though I wasn’t even sure he had gotten one. I don’t think I could have taken knowing where it was and not taking a peak! Somehow he hid it for a couple of weeks though, I think in the crawl space to the attic that opens up in his closet. Sneaky.

Have you peeked at it?
Have you given her a name yet?

@dreamingofbling: wait, I’m confused– did you find your ring or not? lol

Fiance had mine for a few weeks before the proposal, and I looked EVERYWHERE for it! It was torture! He had it in his locker at work the whole time!

The ring is currently in hiding! I wiggle my left hand constantly to try to see what it would look like on it!
Suprisingly I feel really calm about this whole thing. I’m not searcihng for the ring or trying to let on that I know anything about what’s happening. In one month exactly I will be engaged!!!

Oh, I can definitely relate! I knew my ring was in the house for weeks before he proposed but like MissBuffalo, I stayed calm and didn’t even try to search for it. I was however racking my small brain every minute to try and figure out how he was going to manage to surprise me and the box just appeared one morning when I least expected it. Shocking. lol The only thing that consoled me is that we have our wedding date for December 30 of this year and I knew he couldn’t drag it out for too long.
Try and just pretend like it doesn’t exist (at least you know he definitely has it) and it will probably show up any minute. And that’s so sweet that he has a grand plan for the proposal-I’m sure it will be worth it 🙂

@greekbrunettebride: I”m confused too. I swear she said she had been wearing it around the house recently..

@greekbrunettebride: While I was in the middle of writing my comment SO came and sat next to me!! He spilled the beans yesterday and told me he bought a ring but he doesn’t know that I’ve found it and tried it on so I had to change what I was writing so I didn’t blow my cover 😉 sorry for the confusion!
@artichokesalad: I found the ring and I try it on all the time in secret 😉 I swear I try it on like 10 times a day hahaha… what he doesn’t know won’t hurt him!

I thought I knew where mine was but apparently I was wrong. I knew Fiance was going to pick the ring up but I was surprised that he brought it back to our house, knowing that I am like the queen of snooping. He got home and went right into the bedroom and was in there for a few minutes. He came out empty handed and pretended like nothing was up. I didnt snoop, I SWEAR! Even though I picked out the ring, I didn’t want to even see it before it was officially mine. Well, I noticed the bag tucked behind our TV one day and just stared at it for like a half hour. I told him I knew where it was but I assured him I didn’t snoop. A few days later he noticed me staring at it again and told me to pick it up. I was like “oh my god, this is it!!”. The bag was empty and the actual ring had been in his parents safe the entire time.
It was definitely for the best. I much preferred our actual proposal to what it would have been if the ring was in the bag (we were both sweaty messes from just getting back from the gym). I didn’t have to wait long. This happened on a Tuesday and we were engaged on that Friday!

@artichokesalad: know how it feels, I found mine by mistake nearly two weeks ago and it’s driving me crazy!!!! His best friend had a ring 6months before proposing to his wife, hope my guy doesn’t follow his example!!!!
