I was shocked when I saw an episode, too! there are a few that’s are more…conservative (?) and won’t let their daughters where make up or tan.

@Mrs.tobe: Oh my goodness I saw that one time and I was totally shocked, there is also the show called little miss perfect and the attitude those little kids showed was horrifying to me. I think kids should be kids, darker from playing in the mud not spray tans

@Mrs.tobe: it makes me sad. children shouldn’t have that kind of pressure from their parents to win. one of the things that bugged me the most was the judges saying that they were looking for them to answer the questions in an age appropriate manner… since when is make up, hair extentions, and fake tans age appropriate for children?!

@Mrs.tobe: I am just thankful that (out of the ones I saw) they were only spray tans, I would flip if someone was sending there child to fake and bake…

and that is so scary. I cannot imagine how her family feels about that. I have never fake tanned before and I don’t think I ever will. I actually have a decent natural tan =)

Uhg, now I’m watching a show called ‘My Kid is Gonna be Famous.’ Puke. Way to teach your child horrendously suggestive dance moves, and base your love and their value on their performance. Poor kids! The kid just said ‘it is what it is, I can’t get in a time machine and go back.’ She’s 9/10!

I think this show is awful. Its more about the mothers than the kids. At 5 or 6 a kids can decide if they want to particpate but i roll my eyes every time i hear a pageant mum say their 2 year old chose to do it. Some of these parents drive miles to enter these pageants and spend thousands of dollars.

Anyway natural cuteness is one thing but hair extensions, false eyelashes, painted on makeup and sexy outfits is way too much for children at that age.

I think they are crazy to do that to those kids!  I’m glad I’m not the only one out there.  My thing is they are too young.  And to spend all that money on b-day party?  Seriously those kids are MAJOR BRATS!!

I just feel like they are setting their children up for a lot of dissapointment and lonliness. They will probably always feel that they need to be number one. And they will probably be very stuck up and not have many true friends… I feel sorry for them, they aren’t to blame, it is all their parents fault (mostly mothers)
