So we’re engaged and i’m soo excited about planning our wedding. Only thing is i’ve been dreaming about this for so long that now it’s real i don’t really know where to start! We are visiting the venue i have my heart set on next Saturday but i haven’t arranged anything else yet.
I know the kind of things i want to do for the food but not sure what to do about entertainment as i don’t like having DJs but i do want people to be able to dance and i’d like to have ‘the dance’.
Could people tell me the things i need to consider as i know i’ll forget something but so far i can think of;
- venue & accommodation
- invitations and rsvp’s
- dress and tux for bride/groom
- sort out dresses for bridesmaids
- transport to get there
- food and drink
i know there’s loads more

There’s lots more! Cake, rings, someone to perform the ceremony, ceremony music. marraige license, photographer, florist, hotel block, etc etc.

The Knot wedding checklist was a miracle worker for me. I was so flipping organzied with their tools. Biggest things right off the bat are venue, dj, photographer. After that cake/food, officiant, ceremony music, marriage license, apparel, etc.
