An era has come to an end. It’s time to cross me off the list! I’m engaged!
As mentioned in the title, our proposal story is unconventional in that there wasn’t a “traditional” proposal with a ring but the mister and I have decided we’re both tired of waiting and so plan to go ahead and get married next year. So we’re in the midst of planning!
I will admit that I held out on telling y’all because I wanted to share a proposal story and ring picture (both of which will come at a later because the mister really wants to do those things still) but he gently reminded me that a ring doesn’t make us engaged – the fact that we both agreed to get married is enough. And it is.
So this ends my tenure as your Number 1 and it has been fun, though I will admit that I’m glad to have passed this stage in life. While exciting, it was definitely a roller coaster ride that was not always fun. Hang in there, Bees!
May all of the future Number 1’s reign on top of the list be way, way, WAY shorter than mine!

This is how FI and I proceeded and I wouldn’t have done it otherwise. 😉 To each couple its ”proposal”, even if it is not a formal one. It’s still a huge decision to decide to get married and therefore engaged.
