Ok. So I dont have any support from family. My Fiance is down for whatever I choose. I am undeicded on which venue to pick for a wedding in June 2015. I live in the Sf bay area. Stern grove was my number one choice except wedding woudl have to be on a Friday in June. Mission blue center in Brisbane is avaibe on the Saturday date I want. Stern grove is a little cheaper but unkept and worried no one would show up on Friday. Mission blue is a communtiy center with a moutntain view which is pricier but cleaner, avaible on staurdays, but nothing special to it aleast not to take photos. Addtionally I would need someone from brisbane to sign on to the contract to get a chepaer rate for rental. Both locations are pretty close to my home. Not sure which location to choose. Does any one have any expreince with any of these locations?

I’d always go for a Saturday date rather than a Friday, so that’s how I’d make the decision!

Can you post pictures? My only thought is that parking (not to mention traffic into the City on a Friday) for Stern Grove might be tricky. I can’t think of any garages in the area, and most street parking is only 1-2 hours unless you have a permit. I could see that being a difficulty. I wouldn’t worry as much about the Friday if you don’t mind having a slightly lower attendance rate; people who want to be there will make the time to be there. But you do want to figure out the logisitics for your guests so they don’t face any surprises.
What type of wedding are you looking to have? What venues have you already looked at? Bees may be able to provide you with more suggestions. Does one provide linens/ tables/ chairs vs one that doesn’t? That may be something to consider as well; rentals are EXPENSIVE. It’s not just the cost of the rental, it’s the cost of set up and tear down as well as delivery. Will vendors at one venue be more expensive than the other?
